We are selling a beautiful, original 1973 Honda CL175. This was purchased from the original owner who's husband purchased it for her new in 1973. It was used for a couple of years to ride around the immediate area and then, as can be told by the 726 original miles, spent the remainder of it's life in storage. The bike has a clean Michigan title. Cosmetically the bike is in near excellent condition. There are a couple of very small marks on the tank and some very light pitting in a few spots on the chrome. There is an ugly, 2-3 inch rust spot on the bottom of the exhaust. It is not yet rusted through but there is a roughly nickel sized spot that is soft. There are a couple of scattered spots of rust on the frame, as well. The original owners manual is under the seat where it belongs and the tool kit is complete and in the tool box. The bike has been gone through top to bottom by a licensed motorcycle technician and runs and rides excellent. Both electric and kickstart work great and the inside of the tank is clean. All electrical and lighting works as it should. The battery is new and is, we believe, the only thing on the motorcycle that is not original. While the tires, surprisingly, show no sign of dry rot, we would suggest changing them if this will be a rider as we believe that they are also original. We make every effort to accurately describe our vehicles. That being said, there is no warranty offered or implied and all purchases are as is. We would be happy to provide you with extra pictures of specific areas of the bike upon request. We are a licensed dealer in the state of Michigan. All purchases in the state of Michigan will have a $15.00 title fee and a registration fee that is based on their month of birth added to the final bid. All purchases will have a 6% sales tax added. If your state charges more or less than 6% sales tax, the difference will be settled at your local DMV when you register your vehicle.
