Vehicle Detail
kdwarren1 Store Here is a beautiful 2003 Suzuki VS800 Intruder. It has some really nice custom features, including chrome straight-line handle bars, chrome oval mirrors, chrome highway pegs, chrome kick stand, chrome hand grips and chrome exhaust system set up to mimic a Harley Davidson. The bike actually has a Harley look to it. This bike is used with 7145 miles on the odometer. For some reason when my son titled this motorcycle he added another 100 miles to the title. The bike appears to have been laid over once. It has a small, but noticeable dent in the accelerator side of the gas tank (pictured), the highway peg on that side is scuffed on the side and the chrome at the connector is peeling. It also appears that they put the peg back on and had to manipulate it to fix it. There is a slight scuff on the header on the same side, very small and not too noticeable except to the owner, who will definitely know it is there. The blinkers have been removed. I don't know if it was after the drop or if it was for a cleaner appearance. The turn signal control is still in place and appears to be ready to be re-attached to turn signals if so desired. Also I am unsure if it was removed or not, but there is no center stand for this bike. Again, not sure if it was damaged, not there originally or if it was removed for a cleaner look. Mechanically this bike appears to be strong. I rode it and it threw me backwards in the seat. The bike works off a manual choke, which, when it is cold needs to be manipulated to warm up. The choke likes to slide back to a mid choke when you first start it and you need to pull it out and hold on to it for the bike to get full choke while warming up. With all the negatives I have thrown out there, let me say this bike is a looker. Check the pictures for yourself. With a little touch up on the right side, this bike would look absolutely fantastic. Right now it is just a good looking bike. If you like the sound of a Harley, this bike will give you all of that you can stand. It is loud and proud and runs like a champ down the road. With only 7145 in miles, you know that there is plenty of life left on this motorcycle. It is a definite fun ride and you will enjoy every minute of it. I would keep this motorcycle for myself, but I am disabled and there is no way I could ride a motorcycle on a regular basis. But the temptation is definitely there. I am unsure, but my son may be the second owner on this bike. The only thing the title tells me is this bike has been registered all 10 years of it's existence.
