Vehicle Detail

**Relisted due to non payin bidder! If you have 0 feed back contact me before bidding or your bid will be deleted**. Up for bid is a 1980 Camaro Z28 350/4speed. I purchased the car with the intention of restoring it. When I purchased I was not aware, seller did not disclose, that the vehicle needed work on the right frame rail. You can patch the frame and use frame connectors to tighten things up. The frame connectors are a good idea for any t-top car. This vehicle needs a full restoration. I happened to pick up a 79 Z28 when I won the bid on this one and I can't keep both. The interior is rough and there is a lot of rust on the outside of the car. The 1/4's and fenders can be repaired with patch panels. The rear floor will also need to be repaired with pans or patches. The trunk has a small hole on the right side. The front floor is still pretty solid. The rear pinion is leaking. There are oil leaks up front but nothing crazy. The rear dash insert is in bad shape. The metal tray is fine. A new rear tray is included with the sale of the car along with some other small odds and ends. The car does run well and the trans shifts with no issues. The doors do NOT SAG at all and they close nice. T-Tops are in great condition and there are no stress cracks in the roof. The car is the correct color with the red deluxe interior. The wheels are the N90 option (sticker is still on the trunk lid). It's an AC delete car. The original jack is still in the trunk. The hood scoop still functions and all the gauges work. The drive train is original, motor trans and rear. The carb is original but the intake is not. The motor has been rebuilt at some point but exactly when, I don't know. It runs a little better the original 190 hp rating. At some point the master cylinder was replaced along with the brake booster and proportioning valve (brakes work great). The Z28 also has newer rear leaf springs and coil over shocks (look pretty new). The frame rail can be patched up if you are or know a good welder. It's a good project car if you have the time, space and skill to complete it. I'm listing the starting bid at $2700.00 because that's what I paid. If you want to make me an offer please send me an e mail. The car is listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Any questions please ask. I want you to know everything about the car before you bid. Title is a clear Virginia title. If you look at the first picture you can see with a little polish the black paint will come up. I did the drivers side of the hood and front fender. Thanks, Bill
