Since then, the car has been stored indoors and driven under 3,000 miles total; the engine is still tight and fresh and the car has no mechanical issues. It is an extremely nice and solid car that not only runs and drives great, but turns heads wherever it goes... it is a very nice car. The paint still exhibits amazing shine,and the chrome is in great condition. All the work that has been done is high-end and very sound; this car was previously owned by a life-long Pontiac enthusiast who’s friend still owns an original ’69 T/A; this is a good one, done right, priced fairly. The 428 High Output engine is the YK block code and came from the factory with 390 horsepower. The rebuild was complete and included new forged pistons, reconditioned rods and crank, full balance and blueprint clearance, rebuilt #16 heads with hardened valve seats, slightly bigger than stock cam, HO cast exhaust manifolds, new water pump, oil pump, fuel pump, gaskets, etc. It is very powerful and runs smoothly, with a great cam lope at idle. Other than a ’69 RA IV 400 engine, I can’t think of a better engine for this car... the 428 HO was and is a monster, and is period-correct. The car's interior is original and still pretty decent, with a small split on the side of the driver's and passengers bucket seats, new carpet, sound original door panels, newer carpet, new package tray, and a molded dash cover. The headliner seams have split and the headliner really should be replaced. Payment is due within 3 days of auction close via bank wire transfer, certified major bank cashier’s check, or cash.
