This truck is a true survivor. You will rarely see an international like this driving around or at car show. Most were used hard on the farm and are long gone by now. This pickup is as original as you will usually ever find. It has the original drivetrain, wheels, spare and build sheet! I think the spare tire cover could be original but not real sure about that. This is a great pickup to fix up or just drive it as is. It was very bright out when I took the pics and the paint looks better than the pics and has more color. Here are all the details and MORE PICS in the photobucket link. DRIVETRAIN The international has what I'm sure is the original 220. Transmission is a 4-speed on the floor. Transfer case has separate shifters for hi-low and 4x4. The engine runs great and doesn't smoke. I'm sure it could use the usual tuneup and fluid changes but it runs nice. I've only driven it far enough to see that all the gears work and transfer case works. I have not had it at highway speeds. The tires are old and most likely bias plys. Wheels are original split style. The brakes don't work. Master cylinder seems to be working but bleeder screws on wheels are rusted so you'll have to figure out a way to loosen them up or drill them out, or get new wheel cylinders. Clutch works fine. The truck will need no major mechanical work, but will need a few small things fixed and tuned up before it is a "driver". The pickup tube is plugged in the fuel tank so it is running on a temporary tank now just to move it around. There is a video of the truck running. The headlights and tailights work. Turnsignals work in front, not in rear so I'm sure it needs bulbs or something. VIDEO OF ENGINE http://s942.photobucket.com/user/tutheck5/media/1957%20international/VID_20130617_172144_460_zps253ef02d.mp4.html BODY The body on the international is not perfect but very nice. It has very little rust but I will detail what it has. Both rear cab corners have a little rust. It's a fairly easy fix but it is rusted through. The box has rust in the front where the vertical front piece of the box meets the box floor. Not too major and hard to see in the pics, but it's there. Neither of these areas would affect the usability of the truck. There is no other rust. Any other spot of rust you see in the pics is not rust but surface type rust where the paint chipped off. The truck has been painted before but has no thick filler and no sign of any major body repair ever. Floors, frame, etc. etc. are fine. Doors, hood, and tailgate operate as they should. INTERIOR Not much to say here. Seat is in ok shape and is original. Radio is not original. Build sheet is still on the drivers visor and is pictured. Have one of the most unique pickups at the car show. The binders are collectible and there are many clubs out there for restoration information and resources. This truck is 56 years old and is used and sold as-is with no warranties whatsoever. Thanks Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool.
