For sale is 1972 Triumph TR6 with 50,110 miles on it. I bought this car last year as a fun project. I have enjoyed working on the car but it has now come to the time where I need the space… I have done a lot of work to the car to make it a safe and drivable car. As you would expect with a 40 plus year old vehicle, there is still some attention that could be paid to make the car perfect. The main upgrade on the car has been the braking system. The whole braking system has been gone through and replaced. Well over 1,000 spent on just the parts, not to mention the labor. It has had an overhaul on every corner and been adjusted to the correct tolerances. Brake discs, pads, shoes, and master cylinder have been replaced with new items. The carburetors were taken off and professionally rebuilt. The previous owner decked the engine so it sounds like a new engine. There has been a lot of time and money spent on the engine area. Because of the age of the car it is not surprising that there is a slight oil leak from under the car. The car might be due for a new clutch sometime soon and the diff mount shows one spot where it could use repair. Odds and ends have also been replaced on the car. The condition of the car varies in every area, some better than others. The exterior of the car is ok but has the paint bubbling on the front hood and is not show quality when up close. The front fenders have been replaced by the previous owner with fiberglass ones. The front hood does not sit perfect as compared to a show car. The rocker panels are in really good condition and show no signs of any serious rust. Underneath the car has been previously painted with rust preventive paint. The exhaust seems like it has less than 1,000 miles on it if I had to guess… Still had the factory stickers on it when I bought the car! It will need a new antenna for the radio. Car comes with a radio and speakers. The interior is not bad considering the age. The upholstery and roof have been replaced at one point. There is a small tear in the driver seat and shows wear on other parts of the car. It is not perfect. The roof is like new besides a small centimeter cut in the right side window. You can definitely live with it, but this just shows the car is not a show car. Please understand that this is not a new car and will have areas on it that need attention.
