If you're interested in this car, you probably already know it's the same car, same mechanicals as the Toyota Matrix S, manufactured in the same Fremont, CA plant. Two suburban owner, garage-kept Vibe GT with 134K miles. 1.8L 4 cylinder VVTL-i motor with 180 hp, 6-speed manual trans, FWD, (2-wheel drive). This top-of-the-line GT model is a rare car, as most are the base 130 hp. Later GTs dropped to 164 hp. The good: -Clutch replaced 2011, with about 22K miles. -New tires with about 6K miles. -Front brakes about 6K miles ago. -No rust, nice paint. -No accidents or major body damage ever. The needs: -O2 sensor to pass emissions. Passed last year fine, with no other problems. -Minor dent on rear hatch. Minor dings elsewhere. -Needs front-left strut, (rattles) -Fabric Interior has no rips or holes, but needs a good cleaning. -Rear brakes due soon. -Trans shifts fine, but 5th gear synchro weak, (still engages) So, she's not a perfect, showroom car... but very nice indeed and needs minimal work. An absolute blast to drive and still delivers 28 mpg on the highway! Many, many more miles left on this rare beast. Don't really want to sell, but new business requires a larger vehicle.
