Up for sale is a 2009 BMW K1300S. It currently has around 2700 miles on it. I sold my S1000RR last fall and bought this used in hopes I would be happy with a bike that had a little touring in it. I am not and miss my sportbike. THE SERVICE LIGHT IS ON AND WAS WHEN I PURCHASED IT. ACCORDING TO THE ON BOARD COMPUTER, THE LIGHT IS ON DUE TO MISSING A SCHEDULED SERVICE BY DATE(NOT MILEAGE). THE BIKE IS ALSO RUNNING A LITTLE LEAN FOR SOME REASON. I have played around with adjusting the exhaust flap and the issue seems to have gotten better. I suspect this is the issue with running lean but can not guarantee it. PRICE REFLECTS SELLING BIKE AS IS. I need to take to Grand Rapids(I live in Traverse City), the nearest BMW dealer, to have them look at it but I just have not had time to get it down there yet. This bike has a lot of aftermarket parts and I am thinking the bike is running lean due to the Akrapovic muffler but I am not sure. Besides running lean, the bike runs and handles perfectly. I do not have the original pieces that were removed. This bike has shift assist, heated grips, and anti lock brakes.
