Vehicle Detail
1982 Honda 50cc 2-stroke MB5 vintage sportbike. Why buy a scooter when you can have a cool looking 100mpg sport bike for a fraction of the price? Excellent condition cosmetically, mechanically, electrically. It starts first kick and rides perfectly. It has not been restored. It has been well taken care of. It will go 50 mph and will get around 100 mpg. 5 speed manual transmission. good tires and sprockets. Fuel tank is clean inside with no bubbles on the bottom edge. Perfect seat and exhaust system. No corrosion on the wheels. It has been garaged its whole life. Super quiet. It is complete (has all the parts). Ride it home. It is ready for daily commuting or for restoring to show condition. Excellent for training a new rider - very low power, very low seat, light weight, very quiet, easy to control. If you come ride it and if you are not satisfied for any reason, I will give your deposit back and will give you good feedback anyway. If you pay for it and take it away, then the deal is firm and there will be no refund. Please pick it up at my home. Description found online: The 1982 Honda MB-5 motorcycle was a blend of scooter and motorbike. The little commuter bike certainly had its virtues, and its admirers. Sporty looks aside, the 1982 Honda MB-5 motorcycle was no scorcher. Its 50-cc two-stroke single was aimed more at economy than speed. But several "big bike" features could be found on it. It had a speedometer and a tachometer, the latter redlining at a dizzy 10,500 rpm. And it boasted a front disc brake, as well as Comstar wheels from Honda's bigger motorcycles.
