This 1980 Long Box Single Cab truck was built in February of 1980 and has traveled less than 72,000 miles in its lifetime. This generation of Toyota truck is what established Toyota’s reputation for building bulletproof machines. You won’t find many trucks of this vintage in original and rust-free condition. Most of these trucks have been used up. This Toyota is in unbelievable condition and has been loved and cherished by the same family since 1983. Since 1983, it has remained in the temperate climate of Portland, Oregon. You won’t find any rust. The exterior still retains the original beige paint and the body panels fit nicely. Look closely at the pictures, and you’ll see it also retains the original pin stripping. The paint isn’t perfect, but its held up well given its over 33 years old. The glass windshield and windows are factory original without any delamination or cracking. The front doors feature wing windows that open and close with ease. Behind the front seats, the truck features a sliding rear window. The chrome trim on the body and bumpers shows some small imperfections, but still shine brightly. The rear features a step bumper which would allow for some lightweight towing. The grill and side emblems are present and in superb shape. This truck rolls on the original steel wheels with good Firestone rubber. Correct hubcaps and beauty rings really compliment the look. The bed of the truck is covered by a period correct aluminum canopy. The rear window of the canopy opens and shuts very nicely and the side windows slide open to provide additional ventilation. The bed of the truck has slight patina and wear from use, but there are no major dents or rust. In front of the wheel wells, saddle tanks hold extra gasoline for increasing the range of the truck. Pop the hood and the thoroughly detailed engine bay will impress you. This Toyota Pickup features the legendary 20R 4-cylinder motor that is known for its reliability and longevity. This truck is no exception. The motor doesn’t miss a beat! It starts quickly and idles very smoothly. The engine doesn’t burn or drip any oil. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Open the doors and you will find the original interior is in incredible condition! It looks like it has never been sat in! The foam padding is firm and not worn down. The seats are finished in saddle colored vinyl and retro plaid cloth. The floor is covered in vinyl that has no stains or tears. The dashboard and steering wheel are crack free and all the gauges in the instrument cluster work properly. This truck features factory Air-Conditioning which still blows cold. It also features a heater and original AM/FM radio that are both in working order. In the glove box you will find the original owner’s manual from 1980. This truck is truly a unique piece. You won’t find another Toyota Pickup truck with only 71,387 original miles. From bumper to bumper, this truck defies its age! It has received a thorough detail and a light undercoating, but remains original and rust free. Throughout the pictures, I tried to represent the imperfections of this truck honestly. Check out this original and unrestored Toyota Pickup! This 1980 Long Box Single Cab truck was built in February of 1980 and has traveled less than 72,000 miles in its lifetime. This generation of Toyota truck is what established Toyota’s reputation for building bulletproof machines. Featuring the 20R inline 4-cylinder motor and 5-speed manual transmission, this truck is both durable and reliable.

You won’t find many trucks of this vintage in original and rust-free condition. Most of these trucks have been used up. This Toyota is in unbelievable condition and has been loved and cherished by the same family since 1983. Since 1983, it has remained in the temperate climate of Portland, Oregon. You won’t find any rust. The exterior still retains the original beige paint and the body panels fit nicely. Look closely at the pictures, and you’ll see it also retains the original pin stripping. The paint isn’t perfect, but its held up well given its over 33 years old.

The glass windshield and windows are factory original without any delamination or cracking. The front doors feature wing windows that open and close with ease. Behind the front seats, the truck features a sliding rear window.

The chrome trim on the body and bumpers shows some small imperfections, but still shine brightly. The rear features a step bumper which would allow for some lightweight towing. The grill and side emblems are present and in superb shape. This truck rolls on the original steel wheels with good Firestone rubber. Correct hubcaps and beauty rings really compliment the look.

The bed of the truck is covered by a period correct aluminum canopy. The rear window of the canopy opens and shuts very nicely and the side windows slide open to provide additional ventilation. The bed of the truck has slight patina and wear from use, but there are no major dents or rust. In front of the wheel wells, saddle tanks hold extra gasoline for increasing the range of the truck.

Pop the hood and the thoroughly detailed engine bay will impress you. This Toyota Pickup features the legendary 20R 4-cylinder motor that is known for its reliability and longevity. This truck is no exception. The motor doesn’t miss a beat! It starts quickly and idles very smoothly. The engine doesn’t burn or drip any oil. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Open the doors and you will find the original interior is in incredible condition! It looks like it has never been sat in! The foam padding is firm and not worn down. The seats are finished in saddle colored vinyl and retro plaid cloth. The floor is covered in vinyl that has no stains or tears. The dashboard and steering wheel are crack free and all the gauges in the instrument cluster work properly.

This truck features factory Air-Conditioning which still blows cold. It also features a heater and original AM/FM radio that are both in working order. In the glove box you will find the original owner’s manual from 1980.

This truck is truly a unique piece. You won’t find another Toyota Pickup truck with only 71,387 original miles. From bumper to bumper, this truck defies its age! It has received a thorough detail and a light undercoating, but remains original and rust free. Throughout the pictures, I tried to represent the imperfections of this truck honestly.
