Vehicle Detail
My loss is your gain! Up for sale is my beautiful 64 Bonnie. I purchased this car in 2005 when I moved to Scottsdale, AZ. How could you live in such a sunny place and not have a big old convertible to cruise around in? Unfortunately, I have to sell it to make space in the garage for the latest addition. Since she gets driven the least, she is the one to go but I am going to miss her greatly! This car is a true survivor with the original 389ci motor and hydramatic transmission. She got an updated paint job and interior before I got her. It is an awesome driver quality car. Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition as I have had the engine/transmission/suspension and much more all redone. I'll list all of the new parts below and I have receipts for all of the work done. Over $11K invested so again....my loss is your gain! She has always been garaged. The paint looks really nice and the car gets tons of compliments every where it goes but it is by no means a show car. There are a few imperfections in the paint that I tried to capture in the photos. The chrome bumpers are in really nice shape. There is some pitting in the other chrome trim parts and 1 small rust dimple in the lower drivers door that you can see in the photos. Otherwise, the car is completely rust free! There is a small rear main seal leak which is very common with these engines. I never have to add oil and it's only a drop here and there so I have never bothered to address it. The power convertible top works great along with all of the power windows. There are a 2 scratches on the windshield from where the wipers have rubbed. It has all of the original dash parts along with the original radio. There is an aftermarket Kenwood radio in the glove box with I-pod hook up and remote control. Again, this car is a true survivor and a beautiful driver. I encourage anyone that is interested to come take a look for yourself. I'll list all of the new mechanical work below. I have put less then 4k miles on the car since all of this work was done. The only thing the car needs mechanically is a new windshield wiper motor. Living in sunny Scottsdale, I haven't bothered to get one ;) Rebuilt original engine/transmission Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel Holley carb All new suspension including shocks, springs, tie rods, center link, ball joints and bushings (rides and handles like new!) Front and rear brakes refurb with new shoes and wheel cylinder kits New Convertible top hydraulics New distributor/voltage regulator New water pump/thermostat New starter New hoses/belts As you can see, this car is pretty much brand new from a mechanical stand point. It also comes complete with a custom bonnet cover and it has the original spare/jack and all of the original trim parts that didn't make it back on the car when it was repainted.
