This CB750 sold a week ago for $2825, but the legitimate buyer just couldn't make it work due to health reasons. He even drove 7 hours with hopes to make it work, but it wasn't to be. Here's the original listing....................I bought this beautiful, low mileage CB for a father/son cafe project, but the more I looked at it, the more I changed my mind. We now have a more suitable XS650 project, so we need the money for it. This CB starts, idles, runs and rides great! Everything works, even the turn signals, gauges and brake lights. Very original, except old school Vetter Vindicator fairing and crusier seat. The front tire looks like the original Dunlop ( The rear is a very good Bridgestone). The previous/original owner was very peticular, so everything has been well preserved and cared for. The inside of the tank was the cleanest I've ever seen on a vintage bike (see pic), and the only item that needed attention was the front brake caliper. It now works excellent after a cleaning and rebuild. The pads even looked original. The exhaust has a few holes and some rust, but otherwise the chrome is pretty good, as is the paint. Overall the CB is complete and roadworthy. Even the tank is full with treated (Seafoam) hi octane gas, a recent battery and a fresh oil change. Tool kit and manuals too! Located near Aurora IL. The air pressure is even correct. Garage kept all its life.On May-11-13 at 04:51:02 PDT, seller added the following information: The CB had been sitting for nearly 2 weeks in the garage, so I thought I should take it for a ride. It fired right off and ran strong. Once warmed it idled nice also. Ready to go!
