Vehicle Detail
Fully functional Fire Fighter. Full time All Wheel Drive. 5 speed (1st is granny gear) this baby would climb Everest in low gear.Several hundred gallon tank, PTO pump, two hoses on reels on the outboard sides and one in a compartment on the drivers side. Seats five with seat belts for all seats. No rust whatsoever. All Wheel Drive. Siren and lights work beautifully, about 1800 hours on engine. Speedo shows 32K miles but stopped working a couple of years ago. I feel strongly that there are not more than 34K miles on it now, hours back that up but title will say box "c" and in AZ that is mileage unknown. Tires are decent, oil is fresh, starts, runs, drives, stops. No smoke. Minor leak at oil pan. Brakes are firm and sure. Missing department 2 way radio, otherwise it's all there. Two fuel tanks. Tons of storage - top boxes, and all the side boxes you see, some of the side boxes are set-up for nozzle storage. There are three nozzles, three hoses on reels and one new high pressure 1 1/2 inch polyflex. Originally a US Forest service Hale built fire truck. So this has not been a chassis used for other purposes. Served in the Portola Valley (California) Fire Dept after that until retirement a few years ago as a brush fire attack hot/shot crew truck. This can be used with the tank water or connected to a hydrant. Currently registered and insured in AZ . Ask me questions, if you need a specific photo no problem, if you are in Scottsdale, AZ and want to come by and see her please let me know. I can hold for a short time after auction but lost storage and I am certain t he HOA will be sending a letter requesting the truck be moved so please keep transport in mind when bidding, thank you. Of course shipping is the responsibility if the buyer I will certainly help co-ordinate. No reserve so happy bidding and good luck.On May-05-13 at 08:36:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked about filling the water tank. It can be filled via hydrant or garden hose.
