If you cannot view all the photos, please click here. This car is from the estate of a local Ford enthusiast who recently passed away. The three Ford products were his cherished possessions and have been extremely well kept. They have been garage stored and well maintained. They are stock except for the exhaust which he liked a bit louder than normal. This F-150 Ford was purchased new and was used to pull a trailer. He custom ordered this vehicle with the Trailer Special package along with the F-150 Lariat package. This beauty has the massive 460 CI V8 with the HD transmission and rear end, as well as the braking kit, power steering and power brakes. It also has the RARE dual gas tanks and an aftermarket set of air horns. It has had one repaint and they unfortunately changed the metallic silver to a darker gray but left the jambs alone. They may have also been painted or touched up over the years. They did a great job on the gray paint aside from the jams and bed. As you can see, the truck is extremely clean and straight. We believe the mileage to be original as well. It was built in Canada. As you can see by the tags on the springs and valve covers, we do not believe this spent many or any winters on the road. We believe it retains all the original sheet metal except for any custom pieces added. The underbody is super clean and probably cleaner than my Toyota Tundra. The interior is also super clean, and even sports a CB Radio. Mechanically, this vehicle is surprisingly clean and tight, and runs extremely well. It is also fairly quiet, and the door and tailgate work well. We are surprised how clean this vehicle is, both inside and out. Note that we have no way to warranty any parts and as with any vintage vehicle, they are always a project in some way. Please note this before bidding if you are looking for a vehicle that will operate like a new vehicle. Collector cars are many times tempermental and reliability can be a factor on some. We also did not test each accessory or feature, and only drove the vehicle for a short distance. Any of these should be trailered to their destination until the vehicle is checked over for safety (tires, etc). The title is free and clear, and we are also requiring a bill of sale be signed by the new owner stating this car is being purchased as-is. It is being sold to settle an estate. It is a straight truck as you can see in the photos. The colors are great and it is very old school. As stated, it gets a ton of attention and would make a great addition to your collection.
