This Ford Tudor has been well cared for and is from who we believe to be the second or third owner. Below is a video of the car in action: Please scroll down and enjoy the 150+ photos. If you cannot view all the photos, please click here. This car is from the estate of a local Ford enthusiast who recently passed away. The three Ford products were his cherished possessions and have been extremely well kept. They have been garage stored and well maintained. They are stock except for the exhaust which he liked a bit louder than normal. This 1936 Ford was purchased a long time ago and was in local car shows. This beauty has the flathead V8 with the manual transmission. It appears to have had one repaint. It sports a mohair interior and we believe the mileage to be original as well but have no way to validate that. It also appears to retain it's original sheet metal and the fenders, etc are metal. Mechanically, this vehicle is surprisingly clean and tight, and runs. However, we did notice a bit of fuel leaking around the carb, and it runs better when warmed up. It is also fairly quiet, and the doors and trunk work well. We are surprised how clean this vehicle is, both inside and out. Note that we have no way to gauge the originality or the underbody other than the photos. We cannot warranty any parts and as with any vintage vehicle, they are always a project in some way. Please note this before bidding if you are looking for a vehicle that will operate like a new vehicle. Collector cars are many times tempermental and reliability can be a factor on some. We also did not test each accessory or feature, and only drove the vehicle for a short distance. Any of these should be trailered to their destination until the vehicle is checked over for safety (tires, etc). The title is free and clear, and we are also requiring a bill of sale be signed by the new owner stating this car is being purchased as-is. It is being sold to settle an estate. It is a straight car as you can see in the photos. The colors are great and it is very old school. As stated, it gets a ton of attention and would make a great addition to your collection.
