JUST RELISTED!! 1940's-early 50's Keystone bicycle with a Whizzer Motorbike kit installed. Date of the Whizzer kit is unknown. The bike has a plaque that reads: PROPERTY OF DEFENSE PLANT CORPORATION AN INSTRUMENTALITY OF THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT DPC 30882-2 BACR The Defense Plant Corporation was a wartime subsidiary of the Reconstruction Finance Corporation that existed from 1940 to 1953. I don't know if the Whizzer kit was installed then or later. It doesn't look 60+ years old. The Whizzer engine runs well and the bike zips along, although the throttle/carburetor does need some work - the engine runs pretty fast with no throttle and sputters when the throttle is opened. Everything else is in good shape - tires, brakes, etc. Actual mileage on the engine is unknown. The bike is available for local pickup. It can be shipped,but will require crating and freight charges at the buyers expense.
