Vehicle Detail
The Honda CB360 had a short run from 1974 to 1977. The "T" designation in the model number indicates that the bike had a front hydraulic disc brake and the engine was a 356cc parallell twin motor linked to a six speed transmission. This bike has the classic CB look with what was some modern upgrades at the time. Here is a video of the bike: http://youtu.be/3w8F-7L1SFE The shop picked up this bike from a guy who had rebuilt the motor (mainly to replace gaskets and seals, no actual mechanical or electrical replacement) and had been using the bike as a regular driver. I personally rode this bike 50 miles of mixed highway and backroads, so i can personally assure you that this bike rides well, shifts well, and is a very solid bike. The bike has no apparent fluid leaks. The bike is showing 15044 miles. This is a great bike but by no means perfect so we're going to give you bidders some details so you know what you're bidding on and we are posting lots of pictures.... I really dislike when people describe vehicle as "good shape for its age", so we'll try to give you an accurate description of its flaws and positives. The paint on the bike is the original paint and still has great color and finish (this bike originally only came from in factory in red or blue, which is typical for Honda). The tank has two matching dents/chips from where somebody either tried to use clubman bars or simply lowered the existing bars. The inside of the tank has very minor rust..... its obvious from driving the bike that the very minor rust isn't breaking off or clogging the fuel system. Different brackets and hardware on the bike have some rust but nothing that couldn't be cleaned up by a hobby grade restoration. The front fender has good chrome but a small crack. The rims are rust free but the spokes are rusty. The front tire is good but the rear has some where and sidewall cracks. The front brake has a squeak but the brakes work well. All the lenses are original to the bike and have no racks.... the stalks due have some rust. The seat is in really good shape with no tears, cracks, or dry rot. The pipes are original to the bike... the engine side of the pipes have the typical rust and there are exhaust leaks (see pictures). All lights and gauges work, the starter button sticks (a very easy spring adjustment). The winner of this bike could go in a number of different directions. It would be easy to clean this bike up and have an excellent example of a stock vintage Honda CB. Somebody may make an mean cafe racer with it. Or you could buy it and use it as a daily driver. We are selling this bike as it sits because we don't know which direction the eventual buyer will want to go with it. This bike comes with a clear Maryland title. We sell all our bikes on Ebay "as is" without any warranty. We require a deposit of $300 within 24 hours from accepting price and the remaining balance is due 3 days purchasing the vehicle. The bike needs to be picked up within 7 days from the end of the auction. Buyer is responsible for scheduling and paying for all shipping costs. Our shop is open 6 days a week so it would be very easy for a shipper from Uship to pick up the bike. Contact us for a quote for regional or local shipping.
