1971 Honda CL

Probably one of the nicest unmolested Honda CL350 Scramblers in captivity. Everything except the battery is original as it came from the Japanese factory in 1971. Even the tires are original and still look quite good but for safe riding replacements would be recommended. With only 7100 original miles the bike runs perfectly and produces no smoke oil burning. Everything works including the high and low beam headlight, tail light, directionals, horn and all indicator lamps. Starts easy with electric or kick start. Electric start occasionally spins without engaging but normally catches first time. The paint is original and in very good condition. Inside the tank is clean. There is a little fading of the orange on the plastic parts including the headline housing and side covers but not bad. A couple really small dings are hard to catch in a photograph but there is a slight crease on the right side of the tank next to the "Honda" emblem. A small dimple on the chrome front fender just under the headlight. The bike is not a showpiece. It's been ridden some but cared for very well. I believe I am the second owner but am not certain because the previous owner had the bike for many years...possibly since new. These bikes have become popular for converting to Cafe Racers but this one's too nice for that. Keep it original and this bike will hold it's value well. The brakes are fine (as fine as they can be for a 1971). For safe riding I would also recommend putting on replacement shocks. After 42 years the originals are a little weak. I do have a windshield and luggage rack that go with the bike but are not installed. Local pick up only. I'm 20 miles west of Madison, Wisconsin. Cash, Certified Check or Money Order due at pick up.
