1968 Cadillac Calais - We purchased the car from the State of Utah. It was found in a garage after the owner passed away and then sold to us. It has been garaged for a very long time. It has not been registered in 15 to 20 years. The exterior and underneath of the car are in amazing shape.Everything on the car is original. It has 472 engine with a four barrel carburator. The interior is in great condition except for the front seat. All the cloth is there it is just splitting in spots.The bad seats has some spots on them as you can see from the picture but it is just some dirt that can be vacuumed off with no marks left behind. We will clean the car inside an out. We are picturing the car as we received it, not cleaned. It had a black and yellow 1969 California License Plate on it when we got it. It still has the original hubcaps. We started it and it does run but runs a little rough and is a noisy. I think it could be the 10 to 20 year old gas in it and the fact it has not had a tune up in years. The state of Utah gave us a title with the correct VIN on it and it shows it to be a 1964. However the body style looks to be a 1965 to 1968. I think it is a 1968 and the State just put the wrong year down on the title. However, they might have made a few 1964 Cadillac Calais with a 1965 to 1968 style but I do not know. If you purchase the car I talked with the DMV here and they said they would issue me a title with a 1968 year on it if you purchase it and want me to do it the speedometer says 31,243 so am not surte if it has 31243 miles on it or 131,243 - The car is beautiful and it looks a lot better than the pictures show. The picture show the gold color is lighter color. DL-6882
