Up for auction is a beautiful 1978 25th Anniversary Chevrolet Corvette. I bought this Corvette from its original owners. It had been stored in there garage for 17 years. It was started and driven once in a while to keep her maintained. It has original 82094 miles, it had just under 80K when i purchased it a few years ago. The car is the most solid c3 Corvette i have ever driven, it has always started right up every time i drove it and has never had a problem. I had the A/C system converted and updated so it blows ice cold. You are more than welcome to come see this corvette in person, you will be amazed on the condition, this is not a restored corvette, it is ALL ORIGINAL from 1978. The engine and transmission are original with matching numbers. I wish i could keep this car forever but im opening up a new business and hate to see this car not being driven. The pictures speak for themselves, the car is in excellent shape and does not need anything. The engine and transmission are in perfect shape and very healthy, the interior is all original and in flawless condition, i guess you could call this a barn find. The only thing that shows minor wear is the paint, which of course is original as well. I think it could be buffed out and driven the way it is for another 10 years but the next owner could decide what they want to do with it. The only other thing i noticed was that the rpm needle moves up when you shut the car off but goes back to normal when you start it up. Everything else works perfect, all the electronics work great and all the gauges light up. Finding a Corvette this original and not restored is EXTREMELY RARE, any corvette collector knows that. It comes with its original owners manual and other documents when first purchased.
