For auction our 1939 Buick 40, 4 door. Origianally a California car with no major rust, just a few small bubbles. This car is a good driver but I wouldn't call it a first class show car. It apears to have been repainted once in the past the same color as original which is dark blue not black with recromed bumpers and other chrome being good. The body is in overal good shape and good and solid with doors that open and close properly and all glass good. The radio and heater are original.As shown in the pictures it has a sun visor that is in good shape and the dash and window sills have been painted. I beleive the mechanics are in average condition for a car this age and the motor runs good and doesn't seem to use any oil but I have only driven it on short trips for pleasure. The odometer shows 47,000 miles but I don't know if is correct. The carbureter has been over hauled and the cooling system is in good shape. The master cylender has been over hauled as the brake cylenders and wheel cylinders and new shoes as well as the shock absorbers. The tires have good tread but I don't know how old they are but hold air good. I am getting older and have to scale down. Thanks for looking.
