DESCRIPTION: This NO RESERVE auction is for a 1986 Porsche 944 basic sunroof coupe that is in driving condition, but could use some sorting out. We don't have an accurate history on this vehicle so we don't want to overstate anything about the condition. That said, the car does look decent, starts up and moves under it's own power and has a brake system that works. We do have a clear transferable title in hand. This car had obviously had paint work on most, if not all of the body. It is missing the speaker grilles on the doors, the center console arm hinge is broken, the radio doesn't play, the front hood release needs to be repaired, and there is wear on the leather driver's seat bolster and bottom. The rest of the interior is fairly intact. There is no apparent rust on the vehicle anywhere. The electric seats work as do the windows, wipers, gauges etc. We don't know if the A/C works, but please bid as if it isn't functioning. Everything else on the car appears relatively intact, but for bidding purposes please treat this car as a driving project. The engine sounds great and there is no smoke or other apparent gremlins that we noticed. The wheels are in very good condition with no dents or rash noticed, and there is a new looking spare tire as well. Do NOT plan on driving this car to your destination without having it thoroughly checked out.
