Vehicle Detail
1962 Willys-Overland Jeep Station Wagon 4X4 Welcome to my eBay auction. This is my latest find… A very original 1962 Willys Wagon. This is the last generation of these wagons and has the favored 6 Cylinder Tornado 230 Overhead Cam Engine and a 4-Speed Manual Transmission. This unrestored Willys may not look perfect, but it has excellent bones and would make a great candidate for restoration. It could also be a fun patina 4x4 to use just as it is. The Wagon actually runs really well. It has a manual choke and starts instantly with no smoke or struggle. It does not leak oil either. It idles smoothly and performs well. It has never run warm for me or let me down. I have a video of it running and will be happy to email it upon request. The 4X4 works as it should and the brakes are good too. The gas gage actually works! The added gages all seem to operate too. The clutch is in good shape. The gears shift well too. The tires are all matching and almost new. The body is very straight and all of the chrome is straight and present. The paint is old and possibly original, but still shines and protects and is a fantastic shade of light blue that looks perfect on this vintage of Jeep. The rust is minimal. There is nothing horrid or cancerous. The floors are very solid. The front area has been Rhino lined and the back is still original with all the original wood too. The interior seating needs to be re-upholstered. All the seat frames are good and the cushions seem ok. The headliner is in great shape. I have the back seats out for hauling stuff, but they go back in very easily. I have driven the Wagon for a couple of weeks and have really enjoyed it. It is not for everyone however. This is not a new Honda. A person needs to be familiar with vintage automobiles to really enjoy an old rig like this. I am an Oregon Auto Dealer and carry all the proper licenses and bonds to conduct business nationwide and internationally. I also do restorations, so if you want this Willys.. Only restored or partially restored we can talk about that too. Unless we discuss something first, this Willys is being sold AS-IS. If you have questions, please ask them before bidding. Also zero and negative bidders please contact me before bidding to let me know your intentions. The other zero feedback bidder has seen the vehicle and is a real buyer. I like to have contact with the bidders because I want all my auction to be as authentic as possible. Thanks for staying tuned:)
