The Green Machine Snack Shack This is a 1985 P30 stepvan minibus that has undergone a full conversion into a vending Ice cream truck. It was made for my wife and she is no longer able to run the business so we are selling it now that the season is here. Everything is in good working condition and ready to go for the season. The conversion includes an upgraded electrical system driven by the main engine of the bus that charges a deep cycle battery system. The battery system runs a large DC to AC inverter to power a 42 x 22 freezer, mini refrigerator, rooftop AC unit, two fluorescent work lights for nighttime vending, and a camera and video display system for security and advertising. The system will run under full load parked at a park or event for three hours without burning any gas. When the batteries get low simply start the truck and the main engine automatically runs all the power and recharges the batteries! No matter what the freezer will stay cold without the need for a generator or dry ice. A loudspeaker driven by a 3.5 mm input jack will broadcast sound from any MP3 player, Iphone, or microphone so the vehicle can also be utilized as a regular ice cream truck. This is a full commercial step van with enough headroom to stand fully erect. There is overhead cabinet storage space for other popular items such as glow sticks, balloons, toys etc. (very popular at carnivals, fairs, flea markets, events, etc.). There is a mini USB hookup by the vending window to keep a phone charged for credit card processing (square membership and phone service necessary and not included). There is also a digital safe with a money slot to quickly store large bills or excess cash underneath the serving counter.
