VW Camper Van 1985 VW Westphalia Camper. GREAT original condition for its age having spent much of it's time in the dry rust free zone of Arizona. Four speed transmission, factory air conditioning (but no compressor), power steering/brakes, this van drives so smooth down the road you will want to get up and make yourself a sandwich (but please do not do this). Camper pop top roof (a few small holes in canopy, slight discoloration - nothing serious), clean operational gas 2 burner stove and refrigerator with original ice tray (safety tested operational propane tank underneath), electric sink with drain and an onboard water tank all in excellent working condition. PLENTY of storage space. This VW Van has a 4 cylinder, 1.9 liter water-cooled engine with some new parts to include: heads, clutch, oil pump ignition and dual batteries; both tested for load, one of which is new (all maintenance paperwork included for the past 3 owners). BRAND NEW front and rear bumpers, NEW hubcaps and door handles. There is a dent on sliding door with minor surface rust (illustrated in the photo). Windshield and windows are all like new, with no chips and they seal well. Interior is original, very clean and in very good condition. Sound system has 4 new speakers and a good deck with audio in port for iPod, USB and CD player. It comes with the original upholstery, curtains, screens, swivel captains chairs, 2 fold out beds and 1 table (2 mounting locations). The reason I am selling the “LOVE VAN” is that I have a new project and will not be able to finish this one (time/$$$). Take advantage of this moment and flip it for a profit or drive to the end of your days. There may be a possibility for me to deliver it to your location for $1.00 per mile or you can drive it home yourself, it has never failed me and I see no reason why it wouldn’t get you home no matter the distance. Gas milage is somewhere around 17 mpg to my calculations. It also comes with a cargo carrier that attaches to the rear hitch, a box of misc. junk and a high quality towing hitch (also taillights and hookups) that attaches to the front end so you can pull it behind your other vehicle.
