1967 1/2 1967.5 Datsun Roadster SPL 311 Fairlady Full Matching Numbers Low Mileage Here's a rare 1967.5 Datsun Roadster SPL 311 (1600). This full matching number survivor is one of approximately 4000 half year cars built over a 4 month period some 46 years ago with only 85k miles. While most have been converted to soup cans, this one lives on. This model is unique and sought after because it still retained the short window design styling but incorporated many of the advancements of the later tall window cars - like collapsible steering column, dual reservoir brake master cylinder, wide front fender flares, etc. Additionally, they outfitted this model with special frosted "satin" chrome bits on the interior and headlamp trim of the car to accent its rarity from other 311 versions. This half year roadster is the only model to have the 3 toggle switch dash. It has been in storage for the last 20 years and is in unrestored form. The engine runs good and does not smoke, all gauges an lights are working. The front fenders have typical rust behind the wheels that is repairable and the drivers door shows evidence of some minor damage. The door and window mechanisms still function normally. The fuel tank will need to be flushed and the brake system will require some attention before this car can be driven and therefor must be towed.
