Today I am selling my 1962 2-Door Cadillac. Mechanically, it is in very good condition. I have only driven it a few times since last summer, but it starts right up, drives and shifts very nice, engine is strong and does not have any tapping or smoke, and the exhaust, brakes are all in very good shape. The tires have at least 90% of their tread. The body is very straight, but not perfect. We did the body work about 18 months ago, removing any rust and then painting the car white. It is a 9 out of a 10. The chrome bumpers on the front and back need to be re-chromed or replaced. They look good from 5 feet, except for the 2 rust holes in the back middle section, that I took a careful picture of (this middle part is not hard to find). The floor boards and frame rails are in good condition. the car would pass PA state inspection. Last is the interior. The back seats and headliner are in very good condition and so is most of the door panels. The front seat has some tears on the drivers side seat, but the rest of it is in good shape. The rugs are good, but I was going to replace them since they look a little tired. The dash is nice, even though it has a very thin crack, that is not very noticable. Most of the little things that could annoy you, like the power windows, horn, radio, are all working in this car. I am selling this car from my collection because Carlisle is coming up next week and I want to have lots of money in my pocket. Please feel free to call me with any questions.
