1980 Honda CBX 1000 Second owner, owned for 30 years, I've been a Honda enthusiast since childhood (Z50, CT70, MT250, CB550F, CBX1000). Original owner was executive for Honda Canada. 34,500 km., approx 20,000 miles. excellent condition. always stored indoors in summer, heated storage in winter. driven for leisure only, not for transportation and no inclement weather. Honda GP kit (an exhaustive kit that includes low bars and rearsets, aluminum brackets, hardware, appropriate shortened/lengthened cables/hoses and even decals; all factory Honda parts). All non GP parts retained after swap. Many spares and NOS parts included. Rare Hooker 6 into 1 header with custom fitted Supertrapp stainless canister. Glorious tone. I still have the original pipes but they have rust issues. Honda engine guard bars included. Full Honda manuals and parts catalogues. Specialized Honda tools included. Not run in approx. 10-12 years. Carbs were drained prior to long term storage. Needs fuel tank cleaned prior to restart. Light rust in tank and some sediment in tank filter and petcock. Have replacement filter/petcock. Pirelli tires located in central Canada. After an oil change and filled with fresh fuel the engine started easily.
