I bought this car to build a Shelby clone but I have located the real thing so I am selling it. The body: As you may be able to see by the pictures it has had a rookie restoration on it in the past. The frame rails and torque boxes look good from what I can see but the floors were patched with plain sheet metal, there is still a hole under the gas pedal. I would replace all the floors. There is bondo over patches in several places. It looks like it got a minor front hit and the hood has some bondo the front end picture shows the other minor damage. The glass is in good shape. The drive train: I was told that the drive train from a 70 Mach One was installed in this car. It is a 351 Cleveland 4V H.O. motor, C6 transmission and 9” traction lock rear end. The car has headers with good dual exhaust and traction bars. The car will run enough to load it and the brakes do work. Lets be very clear this car needs total restoration but it has the basics to make a great mustang. The car is advertised locally and I will stop the add if it sells locally.
