You are VIEWING a great 1969 Westfalia Campmobile - a beautiful survivor that looks great and drives great. THIS IS A NICE LOOKING WESTY. I purchased this bus from San Diego, Ca. and use it in the summer months in Rhode Island, otherwise it stays in a dry closed garage 9 months of the year. The interior has been completely re-done with new upholstery in the back sets and way back matches the basket-weave seating up front. 2 reverse jump seats match the bench seat in the back. New Wolfsburg seat belts have been added throughout with two lap/shoulder belts for front bucket seats. A new radio and four speakers have been added and it includes an ipod jack. NEW Door panels, New Seat stand mats, New Carpet, New Kick Panels. Passenger Compartment has new paneling and original cabinetry. Mechanically.......... It is very tight and solid, and is ready to cruise and camp. It is powered by A 1600 4 cylinder motor that was just tuned. New PLUGS, WIRES, ROTOR AND CAP and ELECTRONIC IGNITION. New shocks were installed, new ball joints, new heater cables and throttle cable have been added. The 4 speed manual transmission shifts properly through all gears. Electrical system is in good working order. Exterior lighting including headlamps, turn signals, tail lights, and wipers are working properly. Exterior.......This Westy is eye catching. IT WAS PAINTED IN 2009 TO ITS ORIGINAL LOTUS WHITE AND LOOKS GREAT. ALL THE FIXED/STATIONARY WINDOWS AND EXTERIOR FIXTURES WERE REMOVED BEFORE PAINT AND REPLACED WITH NEW OR GOOD CONDITION ORIGINALS. THERE IS A NEW FRONT WINDSHIELD SEAL, REAR SIDE WINDOW SEALS AND BACK WINDOW SEALS. THERE ARE NEW SEALS FOR THE front doors, SLIDING DOOR, and BACK HATCH . THE BODY IS NICE AND STRAIGHT. THE FLOORS AND UNDERSIDE ARE CLEAN AND SOLID. THERE IS NEW POPTOP CANVAS AND SEAL. Campmobile equipment includes: Rear bench seat converting to double bed with locker below. Rear deck mattress.
