BEST DEAL YOU WILL FIND ON A CAR LIKE THIS!!!!A complete and ready to drive head-turning hot rodwith a reserve that is far below value!Up for sale is my beloved hot rod! This 1930 Ford Model A “3 Window Deluxe Fordor Sedan” is a rare body to see chopped an rodded. The “Three Window Deluxe Fordor” term is used to describe the Deluxe Sedan that had three windows on each side. The “third” window’s have been “shaved” and are now part of the body. You can distinguish this body type by the rain gutter above the windows. You will see that it extends past the existing windows and across what used to be windows. It is the original body on what a local professional builder believes to be the original frame that was boxed and elongated. I am not a mechanic or an extremely knowledgeable gear- head but I will do my best to explain this car. This was (and still is) my dream car. The only reason I am selling it is because my family comes first now and I have to make some room. Spring is here and this is my chance. When the weather was nice I drove it, a lot. It runs great, sounds great and certainly looks great! It’s geared for cruising and runs about 3k RPM at 65mph. Those headers aren't baffled so don't expect a peaceful ride down to the countryside. It's a Hotrod through and through. It has never overheated on me or left me anywhere. In an effort of honesty I will list everything that I know about the car and attempt to explain every issue that I see. I repeat, I am not a mechanic, I just love this care and the Kutlure. I am also open to any questions anyone might have and will supply pictures, video, phone calls, emails… whatever you need to be comfortable bidding. This car means a lot to me and I want to make sure that who ever the lucky bidder is that steals this car is as happy with it as I am. Original Metal Body - 1930 Fordor Sedan (Window Deluxe) by Briggs Frame was inspected by local professional and thought to be original, boxed and elongated.Fiberglass Grille shell with custom made perforated stainless steel Grille Engine – GM 350 w/4 bolt main bored .010 over.(engine was fully rebuilt 21,000 miles ago) Edlebrock intake Manifold Dual Quad Edlebrock 500cfm Carbs (K&N Filters) Turbo350 Automatic Transmission with Lokar ShifterBillet Specialties pedals Ford 9” rear end (not sure on the exact gearing…does not have POSI) w/ drum brakes and Pan Hard bar Pete and Jakes chrome four bar drop axle front end with disc breaks. The driver side door has a gap on the top and is very tight on the bottom, scraping when closed. See pics. (All of the other doors are perfectly fine.) The door closes tightly and latches so there is no issue there. The rear fenders will not allow for the back doors to be open completely (about 75%). They open enough for my 220lbs frame to fit without a problemThere is a very small oil leak from the pan plug (this just started while stored this winter and I haven't had an opportunity to really investigate it...of course that's part of the fun of owning a car like this)The turnbuckle tensioner on the alternator vibrates. It not really a problem...it's just worth mentioning for the sake of full disclosure. There was a weld on the brace for the driver side rear traction bar that I thought looked a little weak. I had a local mechanic weld a piece of iron over it for extra support.
