Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a my 2006 911 Cabriolet. She's a very dark charcoal grey color which appears nearly black in the dark. I've had the car for only 7 months but I've decided to sell as I need to purchase a 4WD pretty quick and do not have room . I've only put about 2000 miles on it (if that) since purchased from the manager of a large Car Dealership. In that time I've done the following upgrades: 36K mile service done at Beverly Hills PorscheRed OEM seatbelts installed at BV Porsche (always liked that look)Had a full detail at the cost of about 900.00 to make her look like new about 3 months agoInstalled an Alcantara steering wheel with red stripeInstalled an Alcantara shift boot and knob to match with red stitchingInstalled a carbon fiber cold air intake from fabspeed to improve the sound and a little more power installed clear front reflectors to replace the stock yellow onesTires are about 60% if not better, rims are perfect without even a knick. Motor looks like new and all stock other then the intake. She runs perfect, looks amazing and everything works like new. Stock options include heated seats, Bose sound system, red calipers, 6 speed manual transmission, cruise control, xenon lights, etc. Also comes with a car cover and the original intake. Exhaust is stock. Overall she shines like new, runs perfect and really needs nothing! Only imperfections I would like to point out is a few small rock chips on hood which can be expected with a used car, a small bit of rub marks under the front facia from steep driveways and a very small rub on the front right wheel arch on the nose portion. The picture looks worse then it is and honestly, I'm a perfectionist but didnt even notice it until I was snapping some pictures. I think it happened at valet here in santa monica as I don't recall ever rubbing it. I'm sure it would cost next to nothing to fix, very minor and again, on the rubber nose portion. I love this car, had a 911 turbo in the past, a 360 modena, an M6, bunch of cars and bikes but this is one of my favorites...just can't find the room for her right now and won't park it on the street. Interior is perfect but the heater button has the typical wear of the paint wearing off...I've seen that on every used porsche, suppose it could be touched up. Thank you for looking, I have it listed locally as well and reserve the right to end the auction early if needed. Its financed through Wells Fargo so you'll need to allow me time to pull the title. One more thing.. It only had one key when I bought the car, I bought another from BV Porsche, had it programmed and spent another 500 on that as well :( On Apr-14-13 at 10:35:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Few things I need to add. 1. I added more pictures that I just took today outside of my home so you can see it in the daylight2. Added a photo of the small rub I mentioned above to show how you can barely see it unless you're looking for it. Passenger side, on the nose pc in front of the tire3. Miles are actually 38719 NOT 38500, I'll sell it will less then 38850 though as I'll likely take it for another wash and drive around Santa Monica4. I had Bev Hills porsche go through it prior to buying it last time, they said all was great. They did not mention the Navigation not working but it wont come on and I think its just because I (nor the prior owner) has the DVD for it. You'll need to buy one if you want the Nav, I just don't use it5. ONLY small issue that I just noticed, inner door handle on driver side (there's a picture), pops out about 1/4" of an inch when driving, not a huge deal but this just happened last week and not sure why. Perhaps just a loose spring, I don't have time to take it in so selling as is. That's truly the only thing wrong, just forgot about it as I just noticed when taking the pics this morning.6. And yes, she's as pretty in person. Really in great shape!7. Color as per the photo is Basal Black Metallic. Thank you once againOn Apr-14-13 at 10:43:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I can put the stock intake back on if you prefer. I just put this one on about 500 miles ago if that. Neighbor has one on his R8 and it sounds nice so thought I would try the same. Had a problem with my 911 Turbo back in the day with resonating exhaust so I'll never do that again. This intake adds a little more throaty sound when you get on the throttle a bit. Last comment, former owner was in his late 50's, I'm in my 40's, we did not race it around or abuse in any way. On Apr-16-13 at 22:07:17 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a couple questions about the Rim size, they are 19" wheels. Thank you
