I am selling my 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. This is a Q code 427. It is a 410 hp but has the 425 HP dual quad set up (not original). Car originally came with one 4 barrell. It is a solid lifter engine with cross bolt mains. It has a 4 speed top loader with factory console. It has a 3.50 rear axle with new leaf springs, new shocks all the way around, new exhaust, new battery, new tires with XL spinner hub caps, fresh tune-up, valves just lashed. Real nice glass. Most of the chrome is really nice but a couple pieces have some small pits. Not bad, just want to let everyone know. Very solid floor pans and underside of car. Frame is ROCK SOLID. Nice bumpers, all lights work on the car. The paint job is about 15 years old, and has a small ding in the hood and a couple small chips. The paint job is not Barrett Jackson, but still looks very nice and very shiny. I would take this car proudly to any car show. Very good driver, crive it anywhere. Very reliable car and VERY FAST!! When you kick that second 4 barrell open, HANG ON. You can hear it a mile away! You get LOTS of looks in this rare car. There are not many of these cars left. Mostly in this condition. I do not want to make this car sound bad, just pointing out a few minor flaws to be honest. Bid with CONFIDENCE!! Rear end tag reads WBS-AY1 350 - 3EB195. It is a Borg Warner. Sorry for the confusion. I was informed when I purchased the car that it was a top loader.
