2004 JET BLACK BMW 745i w/ Bluetooth and Sports Package Up for sale is my well-maintained 2004 745i. It was purchased Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) from New Century BMW in Alhambra, CA, in December 2007 with 34,036 miles. Car now has 83,053 miles as of 4/6/2013. It has a Jet Black exterior and Black Leather Interior. Around 2 years ago, as with most 2002-2004 7 series, I got an airbag sensor error which was due to a sensor error on the passenger seat. I dug up the SIB (Service Bulletin) and had the sensor replaced and fixed at Pacific BMW on 10/17/2012. I also had the thermostat replaced at that time. The total repair was $600, as the airbag sensor was considered warranty work. On 12/20/2012, I had the alternator and battery replaced, also at Pacific BMW in Glendale, CA, which cost me a good $2,200.00. The airbag sensor error came back a couple weeks ago, my alarm was going off for no reason, and also my hood indicating it was opening whenever I drove it on the freeway. I took it in to Pacific BMW and it turned out the it was a hood sensor error which was responsible for both the hood-open error and the alarm going crazy. So I had the hood sensor and airbag sensor replaced 4/5/2013. The car runs perfectly with no issues now: car has no error messages and everything in the car works. There is little ding on the side of the car otherwise the car is in excellent shape. The paint is in great condition, some minor swirls, but nothing your preferred compounding/buffer cannot resolve. Also included is an OEM Bluetooth integration dongle which adds Bluetooth to the vehicle. For earlier year 7 series, you could only use a specific Motorola phone. This OEM BMW Bluetooth dongle fits in the Motorola holder and converts it for use with any phone. I've had it paired with a Galaxy SII/Galaxy SIII/Galaxy Nexus/iPhone 4 with full compatibility. The interior of the care is generally well maintained, but there are some signs of wear from normal use. I will take some pictures and upload shortly.
