This auction is for a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche LT 4WD We purchased this about 4 months ago and my wife is not comfortable driving it so we have decided to put it back up on ebay. Very clean, 2 owners (including us), have all receipts from the prior owner as well as a copy of the original window sticker. This Avalanche had spent its entire life in Oregon (no salt during the winters) which means that the frame and body are like new. Shortly after taking possession, the engine experienced camshaft failure (very common on the 5.3 Active Fuel Management engines)...we were faced with the choice of a cam and lifter repair at $4500 or a GM or Jasper long block for $7000. With 114,500 miles the cam and lifters did not make sense...we went with the long block. It has a 3 year, 100,000 mile transferable warranty that cover the entire engine assembly, parts and labor. It will not cover the alternator, starter or Air Conditioning components but just about everything else is included. We went with the optional "parts kit" with the long block which included the "accessory parts", wires, plugs, coils, new water pump, belts, hoses, thermostat, tensioners, air filter, etc. While they had the engine out they also replaced the transmission lines and serviced the transmission. I will included the receipt for all of the above repairs. This Avalanche now runs and drives like a new vehicle. The prior owner had recently done brakes and new tires and had performed all of the routine maintenance since new. Some of the options on this Avalanche are a AM / FM, 6 disc radio, XM Radio, a Parrot Bluetooth hands free system, On Star, heated leather seats and a sunroof. Two sets of keys / remotes, a full set of books, this Avalanche is a great opportunity for the next owner... Overall the body is in very good condition with just a bit of "road rash" on the front edge of the hood, pretty typical with the mileage...I do not know of anything that needs to be done...fly in and drive it home.I will assist with shipping but the cost to ship is exclusively the buyers. I am loosing more $$$ than I care to admit but my wife is not comfortable driving the Avalanche, so it needs to go. If you have any questions, please contact me initially through eBay.
