1948 Packard Station SedanThis car is a total project, but it is a really rare solid car! I planned to restore the car, but like many people things have come up and now we must let somebody else restore this rare classic and Love it forever or run it down the auction line and roll the dice!if you are looking at this car then you know the prices they bring and just how rare they are! This car is fairly complete missing minor parts like most 60+ year old cars (the guy I bought the car from has a ton of old Packards and will make people a good deal on any parts he may have)Along with this rare car comes maybe even a more rare rear power window, said to be only put on a couple of these cars (maybe even prototype?) complete with the power unit (purchsed on ebay for $1500+)as you can see in the pics most of the glass is broken, the main body is fairly straight, the hood is torn and bent on the left front corner, one door has the tin missing that the wood attaches to, and most of the side wood is accounted (sitting inside the car) but there will lots of wood work to do. The engine has the head off (sitting inside the car) I was told the engine turns, but is not running and most likely needs complete rebuild. The front will need some bumper pieces an grill pieces (but previous owner has some good chrome, I can get you in touch with him)car was bought from an estate sale,from the previos owner, we have what paperwork he gave us, so car will come with that and notarized bill of sale, our state does a 3 year title, but check how your state goes about getting a title. we have a low reserve on the car. feel free to email and I can send you more pics if needed Thanks WillSELLING NO RESERVE THIS TIME!
