First off I want to say I have seen many 1970 Darts on here for sale and the one thing most have in common is they look great from the pics but as you read on it always says paint starting to bubble here or there. This car still has original paint so you know what you are getting and there is no rust bubbling on this car. it is a 1970 Dart Swinger originally a 318 car. Now the good stuff. Car has 8 passes on a rebuilt engine and trans. Best time was 12.14 @ 108mph on pump gas and it is street legal. Now the good stuff. Motor and trans are solid mounted. Motor is a 1968 440 sic pack motor, thirty over 9 to 1 forged pistons, six pack rods were reconditioned, steel crank, 906 heads, 509 MP purple shaft cam, edelbrock torker II intake, 950 cfm speed demon carb, K&N air filter, Milodon oil pan, CSR electric water pump, aluminum radiator, MSD pro billet Distributor, MSD wires, MSD 6AL Ignition, TTI big tube headers, with 40 series flowmasters. Trans is a torqueflight 727, 4500 Continental stall convertor, Hughes reverse manual valve body, bolt in sprague colene steel and red clutchpack, kevlar coated forward and reverse bands, trans cooler mounted at the rear with electric fan, B&M shifter, inland empire driveshaft with 13 50 yoke and u-joints, driveshaft loop, frame rails have been tied, mini tubbed, Dana 60 rear with richmond spool and richmond 4.56 ring and pinion, Dutchman 35 spline axles, 17 gallon fuel cell with working fuel gauge, battery mounted in trunk. This car is still street legal and is a great driver but would require a roll cage put back in to drag race. Also this car would be a minimum 10 second car if you were to throw nitrous on it. It does have a line lock but still need to be hooked up to a toggle switch. Car still in its original paint and is completely rust free, glass is all good, The hood I got for it is a fiberglass bolt on hood but the guy I got it from was using it as a lift off hood and as you can see his car was orange. All wiring done on this car was done correctly and rubber grommets were used. This car has over 10K invested in the mechanics alone. It is an awesome running and driving car. It needs nothing mechanically and was built to last. It is NOT for sale locally and no reserve above opening bid. Buyer responsible for all shipping.
