For sale is a collector condition, completely original 1983 320is from my collection. This is the IS "Sport" model and is equipped with the following upgrades from the factory. Recaro seats rear antiroll bar limited-slip differential cross-spoke wheels larger-diameter front antiroll bar 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel larger tool kit lower front air dam. Runs perfect with zero mechanical issues. Absolutely no rust or signs of surface rust anywhere. It has never been repainted. All body panels line up perfectly. The carfax is clean and provided below. It has been a west coast car its whole life. The interior is in perfect shape. No tears or imperfections in the head liner, seats, or carpet. I've replaced the lower foam in the drivers seat and replaced the straps under both seats for better support. The sun visors were reupholstered because they looked a bit worn after 30 years. I replaced the chrome inserts in the front and rear windows. This a common area that fades to brown with years of sun exposure. I've replaced the fog light lenses. All 4 speakers have been replaced with stock speakers. There is NO 55mph shimmy in the steering, which is a common issue with worn front end suspension components. I have maintenance records dating back about 10 years. This is a true gem. You would be hard pressed to locate one in better condition unless its coming from a BMW museum or collector. Only 2500 320is were made world wide. My BMW mechanic was in shock at the overall condition and originality of this car.
