If you are looking at this 20th Anniversary ’95 Honda Gold Wing SE (Special Edition) you have probably done some research and know quite a bit about Wings. Even so, I will relate the features of this motorcycle, some of which even I had forgotten. I am the 3rd owner. Many of the following “bells and whistles” have disappeared on newer Wings. First, safety. This bike is “pearl white,” (not that God awful bleach white) which makes it very visible and I should mention it has never had an accident and has NO damage anywhere. Wings have an “anti-dive” feature so even if you use only the front break there is no ducking of the front end even in hard stops. At night when making turns there are lights that come on when the turn signal is applied in the lower left and right fairing to show curbs, lines etc. The turn signals are self cancelling which is a huge safety benefit on any motorcycle. There are emergency/caution flashers just like a car. There are more lights for visibility day or night than any other motorcycle including 3 on the side of each saddlebag. The spoiler above the trunk (which also has a luggage rack) is lined with lights which are integrated running and brake lights. Of course brake lights activate when using only the front break like most modern bikes. When using the back brake you are also using the front left disc brake as well. Now for features: probably more storage than any other motorcycle; if you need to take more stuff there is a hitch for a trailer (never used). Also several storage areas up front in the fairing. Cruise control which operates exactly like most cars. 40 channel CB radio, AM-FM and cassette stereo with connections for headsets in helmets. Front to back fade radio adjustment. Handlebar/thumb station change lever. In case you head into a parking spot downhill you’ll love REVERSE!! Driver backrest. Passenger arm-rests. Passenger adjustable up/down footrests. On-board rear air-shock adjustment functional while riding. On-board inflation accessory. Heat vents for legs, fresh air vents for legs, also vents in windshield and upper fairing. Side “wings” to direct air toward or away from the driver. Mirror in trunk for the gals. Heated seats (just kidding). Finally, this motorcycle is FAST and quiet. It is COMPLETELY stock except for the pinstriping which is the 54th work out of 100. I don’t know who the artist was but he did a fantastic job which of course makes the bike unique. Look carefully at the picture on the rear 20th Anniversary badge and you’ll see that the eagle’s talons curl over the top of the badge. New tires and plugs last year. Battery 2 years old. Also included special 20th anniversary key along with regular key and the official Gold Wing Clymer service manual which looks like a dictionary. This not the one you pick up at Autozone. It is the actual Honda service manual for Wings of this era. Clear Ohio title. Original milage. Why selling? Wife has knee problems and no longer can ride any distance.
