Street legal , Glitter Bug body on 1959 VW pan. Built in 1965 ; engine is 40 hp single port built to 1500 with cam. Car is a beauty with custom painted pinstripes & custom graphics all vintage 60's right down to the original purple shag carpet on floor. All gauges work except the gas gauge. All original Except for Mickey Thompson street rod tires with 1960's Ansen Sprint mags. The tires are Mickie Thompson Pro Street radials ,front sizes are 26x8.00xR15 mounted on 15x 7 Ansen wheels ; back tires size is 29x15.00xR15 and are mounted on 15 x10 Ansen Sprint wheels in the back ...we really only drive it on the street, been on the sand once to take photos, maybe 150 miles on these nearly new tires! just a fun pleasure driver..LOVE that pro street look!Runs great, no problems, all works except gas gauge. New brakes, and custom made removable leather bikini top for shade attaches to roll bar. Paint is the original purple- pink sparkle gel coat which is still terrific shape thanks to being garaged and well taken care of. We added the custom retro hand-painted pinstripe and painted flowers and graphics.
