Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a hard to find truck, A 1970 D300 (1 ton) truck. It has the 9' long box step side. The box is in really good condition, the tailgate is good, the floor of the box is wood and is in ok condition. The cab has very minimal rust as seen in the photos. Floors are solid, cab corners are solid the rocker on the drivers side is solid, the rocker on the passenger side has a little rust, the doors are solid, the fenders have 2 rust spots in the same place, 1 on the bottom fender by the door and the other above the headlight, that's it for rust. All the glass is good with no chips or cracks. the heater works good, All the lights work. The tires are about 50%, mud tires in the rear and straight tread up front. Brakes work good. I also have the original owners manual that came with the truck. The seat and door panels are in really good shape. The headliner was gone when I bought the truck. Horn works. All the dash lights work including the turn signals, the dome light works sometimes. This truck has the 215hp 318(5.2) backed by a heavy duty 4 speed. The engine needs valve cover gaskets. the engine runs great. The transmission shifts real good, it handles good, rides good for a 1 ton, and it is geared low. It will run 55 all day, 65 is pushing it. This truck I would not hesitate to drive it across country. This truck has been a very reliable truck. I tried to take care of it like the previous owner did, he had it for 9 years and drove it 10 miles round trip to work and parked it for the winters. this is a very good truck for restoring, cummins swap, make it a Power wagon. if you have any questions email me or text me or phone me, one-four zero two-eight five three-one five six three. Thank you for looking.
