Up for sale is a 1978 Chevrolet Nova Coupe Body: BODY ONLY; NO ENGINE OR TRANS. This car is very solid for the year. It has been set up for a v/8 and a manual, or four-speed set up. It is ready for a motor and trans drop-in. This car would be a good candidate for a track car or just a good father-son project. The car has been stripped to the metal. What you see is what you get. Not much plastic at all in this car. A small spot on the passenger side lower quarter panel. Around the back window all is in good shape. I have most all of the interior parts except the headliner which is a headliner board, easily available. I have pictured the parts I have. There is also a higher performance rear end gear that goes with the car. I believe this car to be a six cylinder from the factory. The original back seat is in the car; I have bucket seats for the front that go with it. This is a good start for someone. Pretty soon after this body style, the small style Nova was introduced. This is one of the last years of the larger body style. These cars are coming along in popularity due to the reasonable price and the ability to hot rod them fairly easily. Also the patched spot on the lower rear quarter mentioned above. I have had many questions already which I will answer here: 1) Engine bay is in great shape. 2) Pedals including clutch are still in the car 3) Brakes worked well when I took the motor out of car a few months ago 4) Floor boards are solid. 5) Trunk is very solid. 6) There is a hole cut in the hump ready for the four speed shifter.
