1940 Ford Standard Coupe. In storage since 1974. Last 10 years stored inside garage in Arizona. I have never attempted to start the engine, although it does turn over by hand. I purchased the car in 1973 from an estate sale. The body is in nice condition with the original trim in place. The doors fit and close well. All glass is intact with original garnish moldings. There is some rust thru in the driver's side floor board (see photo) and also in the center of the trunk floor (see photo). The original headliner from 1940 is still in place. The door panels are also original. The seat has been recovered over the original upholstery. I believe this car to be all original as far as engine, transmission, running gear, etc. This car was never "hot-rodded" and still has all the window cranks, door handles, trunk handle, etc. The hood does latch correctly. The hood hinge on the driver's side is broken and will need repair or replacement. This car will probably need a total mechanical restoration along with some of the cosmetics.
