He has maintained it meticulously and serviced it as needed every time. Original 77,139 miles on the car. Clean history, never in any major accidents or collisions. Runs/drives great!Body is VERY STRAIGHT with excellent original gaps. Doors open and close flawlessly. I don't think you'll find a nicer original car for the money than this one!Under the hood lies a factory MATCHING NUMBERS 350ci Cross-Fire injection V8, absolutely all stock down to the original smog equipment that is all still there, with the only upgrade being an aftermarket HEI ignition coil and performance spark plug wires.Mechanically it fires right up and sounds great along with the nice and throaty exhaust system with added Monza style exhaust tips. Transmission is solid and shifts good through all the gears without any major noises or grinding. I drove the car about once a week, both around town and on the highway and it performs great. You can cruise with it on the highway all day at 65-70 mph and I would trust it to drive anywhere at the drop of a hat.Interior is basically all stock from what I can tell (except for the door panels that are new). Leather seats are in GOOD shape overall with normal wear and tear and a couple of small seam splits and the usual wrinkling that is common on these. Nice door panels that look nearly like new. Dash pad has a couple of cracks. Carpet is presentable with some staining by footweall areas. Good steering wheel. Original "Bronze" tint glass t-tops are in EXCELLENT shape as well with NO cracks I was able to see. Overall fairly presentable for a nice driver.Underside has a ROCK SOLID frame with some very minor scaly surface rust from regular use. Floorboards are excellent throughout and ORIGINAL. Very SOLID birdcage and NICE windshield pillar posts. As nice as you can get in an original car. All the stock spare tire carrier assembly is there as well.The old girl is NOT perfect by any means of course so please keep that in mind when bidding. Paint is in GOOD shaped throughout. Looks to have been repainted at one time, done fairly well with NICE shine, but does have some imperfections here and there like some scratches, a couple of chips around edges of doors and tip of front bumper and such. Rear mufflers have holes and should be replaced soon. Small leak in power steering fluid if left sitting for too long. Headlights work well up and down but are a bit slow at times. Not working: horn, radio, turn signal switch needs adjustment, power door locks, a/c (all there and hooked up but could use servicing), couple of bulbs here and there may need replacing as needed. Might have had a slightly above average performance camshaft installed at one time as idle is a little loopier than most Collector Editions I've driven, but takes nothing away from driving the car. Please note: I cannot remember every single issue with the car, nor do I know everything wrong with it, as it is after all over 30 years old so keep that in mind.If you just want a GREAT LOOKING AND TURN-KEY DRIVER then this is the car for you.
