Vehicle Detail

I just up loaded my 24 pictures but have so many more that are important to a prospective buyer so please contact me for additional pictures but INCLUDE YOUR E-MAIL when you contact me. This is an excellent Charger to restore !! There are a lot of project Charger's out there and this one is no exception. What IS exceptional about this Charger is the fact it does not need new floors or even floor patches !! This Charger came new in B5 Blue with a white interior and white vinyl top. Also came with a Buddy seat in between the buckets and column shifted automatic and is a NON AC car. It had the 383 with a 2 barrel. Has a 742 case rear differential, non Posi, also has manual steering and manual brakes but there is a brake booster for car in trunk with Master Cylinder. Engine in car now is froze up but is a 1967 383. If interested, I could swap out the 383 with a 1970 440 ( but is not an HP ) and would need a rebuild and also have a 23 spline 4 speed I could give with the 440 for additional $750.00 ( that's for both 440 & 4 speed ) The last time this car was tagged, was 1989 or that's what the plate shows. This Charger came with the factory 2 speakers on top of dash so it could have been an 8-track set up. There was no Build Sheet, actually there were no seats when I bought the Charger. I have installed a back seat and front buckets which will need recovering but saving a person from having to locate a set. The console I added as well which is a nice piece. I am also including with this Charger a Tic Toc Tac which a person could use. Tires are new. There is some of the typical Charger rust, around back window and bottoms of rear quarters and one rocker will have to be repaired. The quarters are original anddo NOT need replacing. Underside of car was undercoated but a big chunk came right off in my hand and WOW - the original color was nice and shiny underneath. Frame rails are very nice, no problems under car at all. It does look like car was hit at one time in right front as the inner fender is out of shape a little bit and just the end of the frame rail on passenger side is tweaked out but is all easily fixable. The trunk pan needs an all new one. Wish you could see inner quarters though as the B5 Blue is all in tact and car has never suffered any damage on them it looks like. This really is a pretty good project car. Front fenders may be salvageable but are kind of out of shape and front pan is with car but pretty beat up, but not rusty. Not a lot of rust in this car - as most anyway. The car rolls and steers very well but there are absolutely no brakes !! As you can tell, the front grille is broken in center and the hood does not have hinges on it so it is just laying on top. The hood is no good as it was a donor from another car and is pretty rusty around latch area. I took 36 pictures, every one of them important as I know what its like to buy a car that you live to far away to come inspect for yourself, as I can only add 24 pics on this auction, you can e-mail me for more pictures but when you do, include your e-mail address. This Charger is not so far gone that it would cost an arm & a leg to restore, just a lot of manual labor cleaning it up and doing some small patches on exterior, new trunk pan and sourcing some parts. This car would be so beautiful restored back to its original colors - but since the car is not an R/T, a person could resto mod it to suit their own taste. My personal opinion is the 68-70 Dodge Charger's were the best looking of the whole Super Car era and their popularity today is undying. Reserve is low - just what I bought car for. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to call me @ 360-550-6332 or e-mail me. I require a $500.00 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auctions ending. Balance due WITHIN 7 days from auctions end. I have excellent feedback as a seller on here as I do my best to show and tell as much about what I am selling as I can. Please call me to make arrangements on the pick up of this car - I am kind of pressed for space but I also am understanding of others needs as well. Good Luck and thanks for taking a look !!! On Mar-26-13 at 06:59:52 PDT, seller added the following information: I have only had 1 request so far for additional pictures - Id like to say for the record, this Charger is being sold in " As is Condition " - the reserve has been met so this Charger WILL SELL. I can not end auction now, so I have no Buy it Now price. Id like to make it clear that if your bid wins the car and you did not ask questions, or request the additional pictures, this sale will be final. I appreciate all the enthusiasm for such a great project. Thanks again everyone and Good Luck !!
