1998 BMW 740iL
This BMW 740iL is a very well cared for 7 series. It is a two owner vehicle and comes with a whole folder full of maintenance and service records. This car has all the options that you could want in a 15 year old car including heated leather 16 way power seats, sunroof, power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, memory seats and so much more. This has just been serviced and inspected and is ready to drive anywhere. You won't find a much nicer 1998 BMW.
History
This car was manufactured in July of 1998 and first registered in September of 1998 in the state of Virginia where it has lived the rest of its life. It was sold in 2002 to a friend of mine who recently bought a new car and is selling this one. This car has a clear and clean title history with no accidents or other issues to report. It has obviously been very well cared for as the maintenance records demonstrate.
Mechanical
This car runs and drives very nice. The engine runs strong, the transmission shifts smoothly with no slipping or hesitation. The air conditioning blows cold. The tires are matching BFG's with about 50% tread left. The brakes are good all the way around. There are no leaks or rust underneath. We have just serviced this car with new synthetic oil and filter, new air filter, new cabin air filters, and new control arms. It has also been Virginia State Inspected.
Exterior
The exterior of this car is in amazing condition for the age of this car. It has obviously spent a lot of time in the garage. The paint is glossy and smooth. There are a few very minor cosmetic issues but nothing that detracts from the overall excellent appearance of this car. The only things to note are a couple tiny dings in the roof that are only visible if you look at just the right angle, some scuffs on the corners of the rear bumper, a couple very small paint chips in the paint on the hood and front bumper.
Interior
The interior of this car is immaculate. It would be hard to find anything wrong with it at all. There are no rips, tears, or funny odors. This car has not been smoked in. It has the floor mats, owners manuals, spare tire, tools etc. Even the front cupholders still work. I haven't seen a working cup holder in this body style for a long time. The trip computer does have a few missing pixels as is usual for these cars, but the odometer and the radio pixels are all good. It has a CD changer in the trunk but it doesn't power up. Other than that, everything works just like it should.

We will not sell any salvage, flooded, or rebuilt vehicles. And we guarantee a clear title with no odometer problems.
We do not sell any vehicle that we wouldn't drive ourselves. As a matter of fact, we often put a couple hundred miles on the vehicles before we list them. We service and inspect every vehicle in our own shop and then thoroughly detail each vehicle. Every vehicle then passes a rigorous Virginia State Inspection by an independent mechanic. We try to describe the vehicles as completely as possible, however if you have any questions, do not hesitate to call or email us.
Honesty and integrity are very important to us. You are encouraged to come inspect the vehicle in person before the close of the auction, or have an inspection service to do it for you. Please call before you come as we are sometimes out of the office or have the vehicle at a different location. You are welcome to drive the vehicle before you make final payment. If you find that the vehicle is not as it was described in the listing you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit you have paid. This is only available if you come to our location to pick up the vehicle. If you have the vehicle shipped and wish to return it for a refund you will be responsible for the shipping charges both ways. Your trade-ins are welcome as well. Please call us before the end of the auction if you wish to trade a vehicle.
