1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Sale--**40K original miles This is one of the nicest Monte Carlo's I have seen for quite a while. This car has been garage kept and recently climate controlled kept. It has been repainted once and the vinyl top has been replaced a few years ago. The interior looks exceptional, including the headliner and carpet. Carpet was replaced a few years ago with factory correct carpet. The motor compartment looks to be all original with the factory stickers on the engine and components. The motor runs smooth and has dual exhaust. Mellow but not too loud. The engine is a 350 4BBL Carb. Here are some flaws as I see them. (getting picky here): --small golf ball dent in the passenger side roof pillar on the vinyl top --a few small burn holes in the front seat; easily fixed --some small rust bubbles toward the rear of the roof near the trunk area. I checked from the trunk side and all is solid there. Not major at all. This car is basically a time capsule and it is hard to pick at it. I also have a side mirror that was purchased for the passenger door, but not installed. On the mileage, I have a signed document of certification that will go with the car.
