Note: NO RESERVE This is a beautiful Roadster. It was restored by the previous owner approximately 5 years ago. The engine compartment was restored and looks great. The paint has a nice gloss and few if any flaws. The car is straight. According to the previous owner the 350 motor was freshly rebuilt approximately 3 years ago but has less than 2000 miles on it since. It doesn't leak or burn oil. The transmission is solid and it too does not leak oil. The convertible top was replaced with new approximately 5 years ago. It is a solid daily driver if that's what you want or it's a show stopper too. This is a non matching number car. Now, for the sake of wanting the buyer to have eyes wide open there are a few things that need attention. Someone handy with cars can repair these items. I simply don't have time to address them or drive and show the car which is why I am selling. The Speedometer does not work. The cable is there and hooked up but it doesn't work. As such, the odometer is frozen at 71795 miles. I do not know if the mileage rolled over nor does the previous seller. The tachometer does not work. It is run by a drive cable similar to the speedometer and is supposed to hook up to the distributor but the distributor has been updated and there is no drive gear for the tach. The vacuum system needs attention. When you turn the lights on the light boxes will only open if you get out and help them up. The vacuum is weak and likely has a cracked hose somewhere. The driver window goes up but not down. Likely a loose wire or bad switch. The BF Goodrich TA Radial Tires have lots of tread and look great but they are old and because the car sits 95% of its life they have some flat spots. I'm sure roadtripping on a nice hot day will soften em right up. Buyer assumes all responsibility in shipping. Payment made by personal check will require 10 business days for the check to clear my bank before the car will be released. Payment made by cashiers check or certified funds will require 5 business days to clear. A $500 non refundable deposit is required within 3 days of the end of auction by Paypal. The car will be relisted if deposit is not made. The car is listed for sale locally, if the car is sold before auction closes the auction will be stopped.
