I AM SELLING THIS CAR TO BUY A GREAT PIECE OF REAL ESTATE. MY INTENT WAS TO KEEP THIS OVERBUILT, BEAST OF AN ENGINE IN A SUPER CLEAN CAR FOR MYSELF BUT OPPORTUNITY IS KNOCKING. MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN This 1999 Porsche 996 cabriolet has a freshly rebuilt engine with less than 1,900 miles on it. Break in oil was just changed for new synthetic and filter. Castrol syntec Edge, 5w-50 and filter, new royal purple hypoid 75-90 gear oil for 6 speed transmission. A/C evacuation, new pag oil and 1.94 lbs of freon cool the cabin perfectly. 12/12 Virginia state inspection. The 17 '' Hankook tires on original rims are 85% and like new. It comes with the hard top. Engine was a 3.4 liter but has been increased to 3.6 liters with new LN engineering "Knickies" and lokasil coated cylinder walls. New JE pistons and rings, Porsche main bearing carrier bolts, main bearings, new cam and IMS chains,chain tensioners and paddles, gaskets, seals, new coils,rebuilt cylinder heads,hardened oil pump key,water pump and hoses. Also new R & R rods and bearings with ARP bolts. 3.8 liter injectors ensure more than ample fuel delivery. New LN engineering IMS to crank paddle and upgraded IMS bearing and larger bearing shaft provide peace of mind. Reciprocating assembly fully balanced at New Generation Racing in Virginia (have spec sheet). This engine is much stronger than the factory M96 engine Body is a special order green metallic and a 7 of 10 with a few door dings that could be removed by a dentless repair. Rear plastic window is a little foggy . Rear spoiler accordian is new. The black leather interior is an 9 out of 10 with slight wear ( no tears) on drivers side seat bolster. I just replaced torn shift boot and everything on the car works with no problems. The windshield has no chips or pits and looks new. Have original owners records (factory engine replacement in 2005) and all receipts for new engine and machine work. This car is VERY quick at 3.6 liters and very strong. big oil pressure and temperature runs cools at all times ( water wetter and non phosphate coolant). sell or trade, SUV, boat, motorcycle. advertised locally, auction can be end early
