Vehicle Detail

2000 Bandit 600S I purchased this recently from a soldier that had been deployed. Thought it was the bike I wanted...it ran rough and only on full choke with some luck. Seafoam didn't to the trick so I had to pull the carbs. Cleaned the pilot jets, main jets, float bowls, and leveled the floats. Carbs jets and needles seem to be in great shape. While I was tinkering I replaced the annoying Japanese Philip screws with hex screws. Bike runs fine now and I have probably put a couple of hundred miles on the bike before deciding it isn't what I want for the summer. I've also changed the oil, cleaned and lubricated the chain. I've also wired in new signals in the front and back. The rear tire has some tread left and the front is in great shape...they're both Pirellis. I'm still waiting for the DMV to send me the title from where I initially purchased it (should be any day since it's been over 2 weeks) but the title is clear. I'm willing to take full payment via paypal (for those who want to us a credit card) if the 2.9% transaction fee is covered. I'll also be willing to help load it or drive it to you within a reasonable distance (100 mile radius or so). The bad...the right fairing is cracked and someone tried to repair it from the inside. The signal wasn't there so it looks like the signal hit a garage wall or something and cracked the fairing as it was bent back. There are also some scratched on the left front fairing and rear fairing. The bike idles fine but after some riding it idles around 2000 rpm. When I cleaned the carbs I didn't sync them which probably accounts for this fluctuation. If you have any questions feel free to ask. The miles will continue to climb because I drive it to work on good days but it's only 25 miles round trip. The bike does have some pull...I'm a big guy and it can throw me around taking off. High end power isn't like my previous sports bike so I guess that's the sports cruiser aspect of it. On Mar-18-13 at 16:33:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Also I replaced the spark plugs (with Autolite 4302) and when removing and draining the gas tank I found it has been coated with Kreem so you don't have to worry about tank rust especially with E10 fuel.
